Ever since we launched the first version in May we have been astounded by the phenomenal global growth of Tradeshift; since the launch it has spread to more than 100 countries including India, China, Sri Lanka, Australia and Indonesia which are now growing faster than the countries where we started.

While growing fast globally is really exciting, it’s also a big challenge. For some time we have wanted to internationalize Tradeshift so it’s easier to use in more countries. Today we announce three new features that should make it easier to use as an international business.

- Custom taxes/tax names for all countries
- Custom company identifiers for companies outside DK/DE/UK/IE/AT/CH
- Restyling of payment means.

But that is not all; we also had time to fix a few other items that we wanted to improve:

- Negative invoice amounts are no longer allowed (we use credit notes)
- ‘Line suggest’ should now only return precise suggestions
- Network search should be a little more intelligent (this is an area that will get a lot of improvement over the coming months).

As usual we hope to get your feedback and suggestions either using either our support or the forums.

Stay tuned for a lot of smaller updates in the coming months as we kick our new developer organization into gear.

/Christian (on behalf of the whole Tradeshift team)
