We are happy to introduce yet another useful feature to Tradeshift. You can now send private messages to all your suppliers and customers.
This enables you to manage communication more effectively around business transactions all in one place within the network meaning you can benefit even further with Tradeshift’s social features.
With private messages we have closed the gap between our comment feature and status updates to your network. With this new feature, you can send private communications to one network connection without the need of being tied to a specific transaction as a comment, or blasting it to your whole network via your status update.
And we made sure that you only get messages relevant to you: messages can only be sent to mutually connected members.
The process works in three easy steps:
- Select a connection in your network
- Click on “Send message” right below the “Create invoice” button
- Write a nice message and push “Send”
Now you will not only be able to read and reply to messages directly from your home page, you will also be able to execute all the other Tradeshift functions you love within the same conversation; make a purchase order, send an invoice, or just tell your supplier how much you love their products!
