7.30 am

Join us for an inspiring morning event on sustainability, compliance and risk management in your supply chain!

Stian Tyvand Horne & Martin Hagen, Inventura will share experiences of achieving sustainability and compliance within procurement and supply chain. Is it really possible to meet both legal and market demands in a digital world and ever changing business environment?

Tradeshift’s Gert Sylvest will then talk about how the digitized supply chain offers endless opportunities to share and assess information. On the same time it is difficult to make initiated decisions since there is almost too much information to grasp. Listen to how Marketplaces and AI can be a means for guidance and support to sustainable and compliant purchasing decisions.

Hannele Palje-Rossi from riskmethods will offer insights into how you can capitalize on new technologies to optimize procurement processes and improve risk visibility. How does risk prevention work in a digital context, for you and your business partners?

We will round off the event at 9.45 following a real life demonstration of Artificial Intelligence applied to risk management. Don’t miss that memorable experience!

The venue:
Clarion Hotel The Hub is both a traditional Oslo-hotel, and one of the city’s newest attractions. Originally built for the Oslo Olympic Games in 1952, as Scandinavia’s then largest hotel, it has reopened this spring as a modern hotel, focusing on sustainability and environmental-friendly solutions. It even has its own farm on the roof, providing locally produced, sustainable ingredients for the hotel’s kitchen. And food does not get much more short-traveled than when it is only a quick elevator ride from field to table.

Meet the speakers

Stian Tyvand Horne, Inventura has more than five years experience with public procurement and has been managing projects on digitizing business processes throughout the whole supplychain, including sourcing, contracting, purchasing and payment. Stian believes that the key to digitizing the supplychain is to analyze how technology and atomization can positively influence all business processes, and how the improvement of the supply chain can improve all sides of a company performance. Failure to respond to, or slow adoption of, digital changes may result in diminished business performance.

Martin Hagen is Inventura’s Head of sustainability, and helps customers find concrete solutions to improve their impact, by focusing on their social responsibility and opportunities. For us, social responsibility means protecting human rights and the environment in the entire value chain, and to counteract work-related crime within businesses and throughout the purchasing process. As a business economist with an environmental degreeMartin is looking for the most effective solutions to secure results and wider economic impacts – for both society and company profit.

Gert Sylvest is co-founder of Tradeshift and general manager of Tradeshift Frontiers, the company’s R&D and investment arm that focuses on blockchain, artificial intelligence, machine learning, the internet of things and other emerging technologies that impact supply chain and commerce.

Prior to co-founding Tradeshift, he was responsible for the technical design and implementation of the Danish (Nemhandel) and European (PEPPOL) peer-to-peer-based source-to-pay digital infrastructures, with Accenture and Avanade.

Sylvest holds an MS in Computer Science and Music, specializing in real-time distributed collaboration systems.
