Meet the speakers
Adam Skogman is the CTO of Spendency, the spend analysis tool jointly owned by EFFSO and Visma Commerce. As one of the original architects of Spendency, he is currently working on taking the system to the next level by incorporating AI technology. Adam is also developing EFFSO’s future portfolio of purchasing solutions.
Adam has a long history of building large-scale software solutions. He joined Spendency from a manager position at Apple, having built up a Big Data team in Sweden. Prior to that, Adam worked at Pivotal as a Principal Engineer on Real-time Business Intelligence for Telecom, as Lead Software Architect for Avail Intelligence (an e-Commerce AI company) and as a Principal Architect for real-time data solutions in the banking industry.
Adam holds an MS in Computer Science and Engineering.
Gert Sylvest is co-founder of Tradeshift and general manager of Tradeshift Frontiers, the company’s R&D and investment arm that focuses on blockchain, artificial intelligence, machine learning, the internet of things and other emerging technologies that impact supply chain and commerce.
Before leading Tradeshift Frontiers, Sylvest led the global cross-regional network strategy focusing on platform deployment and growth in China, and as CTO of Tradeshift. Prior to co-founding Tradeshift, he was responsible for the technical design and implementation of the Danish (Nemhandel) and European (PEPPOL) peer-to-peer-based source-to-pay digital infrastructures, with Accenture and Avanade.
Sylvest holds an MS in Computer Science and Music, specializing in real-time distributed collaboration systems.
Lloyd Humphreys is a product leader at Tradeshift running Tradeshift Ada, the artificial intelligence layer integrated into the platform. In previous roles he’s been responsible for the success of the first Tradeshift Buy customer go-live, and developing the underlying architecture of the Tradeshift Buy product.
Before becoming a product leader at Tradeshift, Lloyd was working to streamline ITIL processes with Citrix GoToAssist.
