Notification of Sub-Processor Engagement: DataDog and Pendo

At Tradeshift, we are committed to providing a secure, efficient, and reliable platform that facilitates smooth interactions between buyers and sellers globally. As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance our services and maintain the highest standards of operational excellence and data security, we wish to inform you about a recent update in our data processing activities.

You are receiving this notice because our records indicate that you have requested, either contractually or through our website, to receive communications about the addition of new subprocessors, as such term is defined under applicable data protection laws.

We are providing you with notice of the addition of two new subprocessors:

• Pendo
• Datadog

Pendo is a product experience platform that helps companies measure and elevate the customer experience through in-depth analytics, user feedback, and personalized communication. We utilize Pendo’s tools to collect and analyze user data, which includes Net Promoter Score (NPS), Monthly Active Users (MAU), and other critical usage metrics. This data is pivotal in helping us understand user behavior, improve our platform functionality, and deliver tailored content that meets the needs of our diverse user base.

In particular, Pendo is engaged to provide the following services to Tradeshift:

• User Behavior Analytics: Tracking and analyzing how users interact with our platform to optimize our ability to support our users and improve user experience.
• NPS and Feedback Collection: Gathering feedback directly from users to measure satisfaction and respond to user needs more effectively.
• Engagement Initiatives: Creating and managing in-app messaging and guides to help users navigate our platform efficiently.

In providing the above-mentioned services, Pendo may have access to the following categories of personal data:

• User names and identifiers
• Device information
• Usage activity information

Personal data processed by Pendo will reside in the United States of America.

Tradeshift has entered a contract with Pendo that includes data protection terms, including the application of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and of the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to enable cross-border transfers of personal data to the United States.

Datadog is a cloud-based monitoring and analytics platform that helps companies improve the observability of their IT infrastructure. Its capabilities include real-time performance monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting across applications, network systems and cloud environments.

In particular, Datadog is engaged to provide the following services to Tradeshift:

• Monitoring production servers, applications, and databases in real time.
• Tracking and managing incidents to ensure timely resolution.
• Providing system audit trails that help in detailed troubleshooting and analysis.
• Delivering performance analytics, including page load times and process completions.

In providing the above-mentioned services, Datadog may have access to the following categories of personal data:

• User names and identifiers
• IP Addresses
• Device information
• Activity logs and performance data

Personal data processed by Datadog will reside in the United States of America.

Tradeshift has entered a contract with Datadog that includes data protection terms, including the application of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and of the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to enable cross-border transfers of personal data to the United States.

This notice serves both as an informative measure and as an invitation for you to communicate your objections, if any, to the engagement of Pendo and DataDog as a subprocessors for the specific purposes mentioned.
