Tradeshift Appoints Jigish Avalani to New Position of President and COO

SAN FRANCISCO–Tradeshift, the fastest growing supply chain platform, today announced the appointment of Jigish Avalani as President and Chief Operating Officer (COO). Reporting to CEO and co-founder Christian Lanng, Avalani will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the company, and the accelerated expansion of the Tradeshift global supply chain platform.

The battle of the platforms has now begun.” Prior to joining Tradeshift, Avalani was SVP and General Manager of the travel and expense platform at Concur, an SAP company, where he was instrumental in building and growing an app ecosystem prior to the company’s acquisition in 2014. Avalani also brings decades of SaaS, platform and alliance expertise from senior leadership roles including CMO and EVP at SaaS startup Appature (acquired by IMS Health), and various executive roles at Microsoft. “I am thrilled to join Tradeshift at this stage of its growth.
