What’s new for AI – Fall 2025

1. Ada 2.0, AI-powered invoice coding

What’s new: Ada 2.0 is our smarter, faster, and more accurate AI invoice coding engine, now powered by a new Decision Tree algorithm for better performance. This architectural reboot was built from the ground up to be more accurate, adaptable, and scalable, moving beyond the statistical simplicity of our previous models. The new model is backward compatible from a functionality point of view, and the prediction process has been streamlined to a single API call for easier integration.

How does it benefit users: With Ada 2.0, you get better generalization across diverse datasets and significant improvements in accuracy at the coding list level. This enhanced accuracy leads to a higher automation rate, reducing manual intervention and streamlining your processes. We’ve also addressed customer pain points with a focus on user-centric improvements and optimizations, allowing for faster adaptability to evolving business logic and workflows.

The AI-powered invoice coding, Ada 2.0, is available for customers in Private Preview. Reach out directly to your Customer Success Manager or fill in this form here to try it out, and automate your processes with AI.

2. Reporting & Analytics App, Enterprise-grade BI at a fraction of the cost

What’s new: The Reporting & Analytics app, built on Amazon QuickSight technology, is embedded directly into the Tradeshift platform. It provides two distinct views: one for buyers, who can access multiple ready-made dashboards and reports, and one for sellers, who can see the new Payment Predictor report. A premium version of the app is available, which allows you to customize your dashboards and reports.

How does it benefit users: This app gives you the power to run big data reports in just a few seconds, providing full visibility over your data with very intuitive and easy-to-visualize reports and dashboards. You also gain access to more powerful reports than in the existing Insight Center, allowing you to make better, data-driven decisions.

3. Conversational AI-driven analytics with Q

What’s new: In addition to dashboards and reports, the Reporting & Analytics app features the GenAI-powered Q functionality. This feature allows users to ask questions in natural language and get immediate visual responses to anything related to their data.

How does it benefit users: No prior data or technical knowledge is required. With the Q functionality, you can simply ask anything about the data, in multiple languages, and receive answers in both text and visual chart formats. This democratizes access to valuable insights, allowing anyone to explore and understand their data without needing a data scientist.

Reach out directly to your Customer Success Manager or fill in this form here to get the premium version of the Reporting & Analytics app.

4. Conversational AI-powered assistants: AskAda for Sellers and AskAda for Babelway

What’s new: As of August 13th, AskAda is available to all active seller accounts. An AI-powered assistant is also available for Babelway users, since June 15th. Each AskAda assistant is trained on specific information that caters to users that fall under the Sellers category or are using the Babelway app, our middleware and powerful integration tool that simplifies data exchange.

How does it benefit users: These assistants provide product-related answers in just a few seconds. AskAda is available 24/7, sourcing information from external product resources, our Knowledge Base, and commercial website to give you the best answers. She also supports multiple languages, making the user experience smoother and more accessible for everyone, and helps to reduce the number of support tickets by empowering users to find solutions on their own.

What’s new for e-Invoicing compliance – Fall 2025

1. VAT Exemption Toggle

What’s new: We have delivered a comprehensive solution for handling suppliers not subject to VAT registration as part of the BFR 2.0 compliance package. This feature was critical to enabling compliant invoicing for suppliers who are legally exempt from VAT registration, particularly in jurisdictions where VAT registration is not required or possible.

How does it benefit users: This feature makes compliance easier for suppliers, who can now mark themselves as VAT-exempt, avoiding unnecessary checks and paperwork. It also provides clearer invoices, as the VAT exemption status is shown directly on the document, making it easy for everyone to see and understand. This improvement helps VAT-exempt suppliers in all supported countries, making international business smoother.

2. Clearance Mandate: France

What’s new: Tradeshift has been a certified Peppol Access Point since 2014 and became a registered PA (Plateforme Agréée immatriculée) on August 19, 2024, with our registration number 0036. We have trusted integrations with key systems like France’s Chorus Pro. As of June 12, 2025, we have completed the Annuaire tests and are live in production, as one of just 49 PAs (ex-PDPs) out of roughly 100 to reach this stage. We have also successfully completed interoperability testing with other PAs (one of just 30 out of ~100 PAs to have volunteered for interoperability testing), demonstrating our platform’s ability to connect seamlessly. Our client, Air France, is live in production after successfully completing the Directory (Annuaire) tests.

How does it benefit users: As a registered PA (Plateforme Agréée immatriculée), Tradeshift helps you navigate the complex new French regulations with confidence, ensuring you meet compliance deadlines and avoid fines. Our extensive experience in electronic invoicing and our seamless integrations with key government systems mean you can send and receive fully compliant e-invoices with minimal disruption to your operations. This also reduces manual errors and lowers transaction costs, freeing your AP team to focus on more strategic tasks.

If you haven’t yet chosen your PA (Plateforme Agréée) to comply with the French e-Invoicing and e-Reporting mandate, this is your sign act. Discuss with a Tradeshift representative today.

3. Clearance Mandate: Poland

What’s new: The Tradeshift Poland clearance solution will establish an inbound clearance connection to the Polish government system (Krajowy System e-Faktur – “KSeF”). The following document types will be supported: invoices, corrective invoices, and self-billed invoices. The mandate will be in effect February 1, 2026, for companies whose turnover exceeds PLN 200 mil and April 1, 2026, for all companies. Starting in November 2025, a test version of the KSeF 2.0 Taxpayer Application is planned to be available to all businesses.

How does it benefit users: Tradeshift makes Polish compliance simple, scalable, and future-proof by providing a dual e-invoicing solution that supports both the KSeF and Peppol standards. This integration with your existing ERP or financial systems means your team won’t have to learn new software or change how invoices are approved. This reduces manual work and ensures you can manage all Polish domestic and cross-border invoices in one place, minimizing disruption and ensuring you meet the new mandate.

4. B2B E-Invoicing: Belgium

What’s new: Belgium is adopting the Peppol framework as its CTC model for e-invoicing. Peppol BIS 3.0 is the primary format supported, aligning with the European standard EN 16931. Penalties for non-compliance with the B2B e-invoicing mandate start at €1,500 for a first violation, €3,000 for a second, and €5,000 for each thereafter, but are more likely not enforced at the beginning. Tradeshift is a Peppol certified Access Point provider in Belgium, and our technology powers Belgium’s Mercurius and Luxembourg’s B2G systems.

How does it benefit users: The shift to e-invoicing in Belgium is an opportunity to reduce costs, speed up payments, and unlock real-time cash flow visibility. By leveraging our certified Peppol Access Point, businesses, regardless if they are big enterprises or small and medium businesses, can benefit from end-to-end automation, reducing administrative costs associated with paper and manual processing. This also improves data accuracy and security while ensuring you stay compliant with national and EU regulations.

Tradeshift is ready to help you be e-Invoicing compliant in Belgium. Fill in the form here or reach out directly to your Customer Success Manager to get started.
