“2020 is shaping up to be a truly transformational year for Tradeshift as we prepare to launch new products and continue to accelerate towards near-term profitability,” said Christian Lanng, CEO, Tradeshift. “Ten years ago, Tradeshift was three guys sitting in a garage with a vision to connect every business in the world digitally, creating economic opportunity for all. Our ranking as one of the world’s most innovative companies is a testament to our customers, our partners and the incredible team we have assembled across the world to bring that vision into reality.”

The company recently announced a funding round of $240 million designed to help continue its trajectory of growth while also providing a strong runway to reach profitability.

Tradeshift’s strategy for the next phase in its evolution has been further strengthened by the appointment of several senior hires, including industry veteran Raphael Braes, who has joined as Chief Product Officer, and Tony Alvarez, formerly of SAP Ariba.
