Tradeshift PDP Featured in France’s First PDP Benchmark Report

“Le Grand Benchmark des PDP” by The Invoicing Hub compares over 50 platforms as France advances toward mandatory e-invoicing

By Ioana Ploesteanu, Product Marketing Manager, Tradeshift

Tradeshift has been included in Le Grand Benchmark des PDP, a new report released in April 2025 by The Invoicing Hub. The report provides a side-by-side comparison of more than 50 Partner Dematerialization Platforms (PDPs) registered in France, offering visibility into their capabilities as the country prepares for mandatory B2B e-invoicing.

Tradeshift was among the first platforms to receive PDP-registered status from French authorities, confirming its compliance with the initial vetting requirements. As solutions across the market continue to evolve—pending final specifications from the government—Tradeshift remains focused on building a reliable, future-ready platform for companies navigating this complex transition.

The French e-Invoicing mandate: Current status, as of April 2025

France is implementing mandatory electronic invoicing for all B2B transactions. Starting September 1, 2026, large and medium-sized companies must issue and report e-invoices through authorized channels. By September 1, 2027, small businesses will also be required to comply.

The French Tax Authority (DGFiP) has designated Partner Dematerialization Platforms (PDPs) as the exclusive channels for e-invoice exchange, phasing out the government’s public invoicing portal (PPF) for this purpose.

Currently, the Directory (Annuaire) pilot Wave 1, which began in March 2025, is underway, with Tradeshift actively participating in this critical phase of implementation.

Tradeshift’s Role in “Le Grand Benchmark des PDP”

Tradeshift is proud to be featured in The Invoicing Hub’s April 2025 report, Le Grand Benchmark des PDP. Recognized as a registered PDP since August 19, 2024 (registration number 0036), Tradeshift was among the first platforms to pass the initial technology and security checks by the French authorities.

It’s important to note that this registration is an initial step in the compliance process. The development of fully compliant solutions is ongoing and contingent upon the final specifications to be provided by the French authorities.
