What’s new for compliance – Fall 2024

1.Inbound connection with e-Factura in Romania

What’s new: Both buyers and sellers now benefit from the automatic retrieval of cleared and compliant Invoices, Credit Notes and Corrective Invoices from the e-Factura platform with full support for local document formats: RO_CIUS to TSUBL.

How does it benefit users: In addition to meeting the recent Romanian clearance mandate which went into effect in July 2024, our compliance features ensure uninterrupted operations for both buyers and sellers.

We streamline the document enrichment process to prevent data gaps that could impact your AR and AP efficiency.

  2. Inbound connection with MyInvois in Malaysia

What’s new: Similar to the system in Romania but adjusted to meet Malaysia’s unique requirements, buyers and sellers can now automate the retrieval of cleared and compliant invoices, credit notes, debit notes, and self-billed invoices from the MyInvois platform.

This includes full support for local document formats, such as embedding QR codes on invoices and enabling a 72-hour document cancellation period.

How does it benefit users: In August 2024, Malaysia implemented a clearance mandate, with a 6-month grace period announced in July 2024.

All released Malaysian compliance features are designed to assist both buyers and sellers in seamlessly complying with the new mandate without disrupting their current operations.

We are committed to ensuring that your Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) efficiency is not compromised due to incomplete data on cleared invoices entering your systems, by facilitating the alignment of both parties in the document enrichment process.”

What’s new for Buyers’ user experience – Fall 2024

1.Improved UX for Goods Receipt App

What’s new: When creating a goods receipt you can now enter received quantities or amounts directly in the main page, skip/ignore lines that have not been received, and have the budget information displayed when applicable.

How does it benefit users: Improved user experience for the Requester when creating goods receipts.

2.Download catalog content for further offline analysis and processing

What’s new: The two roles of Content Manager and Requester can now download the full catalog content for a given branch in respect to the pre-configured products visibility rules (the views) for that branch.

How does it benefit users: Improved visibility for catalogs available in the Tradeshift platform.

3. Improved percentage cost split for the requisition line item

What’s new: Cost distribution will now be proportionally split automatically when a Requester changes the purchase request line amount.

How does it benefit users: Cost distribution is both faster and more accurate, saving the Requester time and reducing potential errors.

What’s new for Sellers’ user experience – Fall 2024

  • First Invoice Onboarding

What’s new: Rather than using a traditionally inaccurate master vendor file, an email inbox is set up for buyers where sellers send their first invoice to get the onboarding process started.

How does it benefit users: Buyers and sellers can easily transact documents from day 1 and from the first invoice sent, without lengthy onboarding campaigns and having to wait for sellers to log into Tradeshift.

No other company makes onboarding this simple or intuitive.

  • New apps – Home and HomeX

What’s new: Two new Home Apps to speed up the onboarding process and improve the user experience of sellers.

How does it benefit users: Sellers now have the same experience and view before signing up to use Tradeshift as they do after claiming the account prepared for them by one of the buyers they collaborate with.

Here they can see new tasks, can enrich the invoice if needed, and ensure there are no impediments to payment.

Sellers also get insights on the amounts of paid, unpaid and rejected invoices in different currencies, and can easily claim a passive account or add other users to the account.

3.Document Enrichment

What’s new: Sellers can enrich the invoice with potentially missing data required to comply with the clearance mandates or to support the Buyer’s need for additional data.

How does it benefit users: Sellers become more collaborative within the supply chain leading to stronger relationships with their buyers, faster communication and potentially shorter invoice cycle times.
