Tradeshift Expands Global Leadership Team with Key Appointments in Latin America and the United States

SAN FRANCISCO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Tradeshift, the leader in supply chain payments and marketplaces, today announced two additions to its global leadership team who will help the company drive innovation in supply chain networks across industries.

Kevin Wilbur, who most recently served as Senior Vice President of AP Automation at Tungsten Network, has been appointed Tradeshift’s Global Vice President of Customer Value, based in Providence, Rhode Island. Fernando De Allende, a global entrepreneur who has also held several leadership roles at SAP, joins the Tradeshift team as General Manager of Latin America, based in Tradeshift’s growing Miami office.

“Experiencing exponential growth has allowed us to broaden the depth of our executive team,” said Rinus Strydom, Chief Commercial Officer at Tradeshift. “Kevin and Fernando’s talents will help Tradeshift strengthen its industry experience and broaden reach to the LATAM market.”

Bringing more than 25 years of experience in the procure-to-pay industry, including founding and selling a procurement company in only three years, Wilbur will drive Tradeshift’s post-sales activity, helping ensure that customers maximize the value of their investments and increase those investments over time.

“The world is changing rapidly, and global supply chain digitization has become an inevitable part of everyone’s journey,” Wilbur said. “The most successful customers are the ones who move beyond yesterday’s monolithic technologies and adopt a platform-based approach, like Tradeshift, that future-proofs their investments and scales with their growth.”

De Allende joins Tradeshift from Market Overture, where he was the founder and CEO and helped introduce business software solutions into Latin America. During his 20+ year career, including 16 at SAP, he has helped expand and accelerate innovation across industries and cultures.

“You need a bold vision to create an extraordinary company, but you also need a group of strong, capable leaders and a diverse, global innovative employee culture. That’s what I’ve found at Tradeshift,” De Allende said. “I am excited to help expand and strengthen Tradeshift’s innovation to the Latin American market.”
