Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct sets forth Tradeshift’s internal policies and philosophies in the area of responsible ethical, social and environmental practices.

Compliance with Labor Laws

Tradeshift will fully comply with all applicable laws pertaining to slavery, child labor, and human trafficking and observe all legal requirements, particularly those pertaining to underage workers, hours of work, wages, minimum education and working conditions. Further, we will comply with all applicable laws and principles of humanity concerning work hours, minimum wage and overtime, and legally mandated benefits.

Non-Discrimination

Tradeshift will not discriminate in hiring and employment practices on grounds of race, religion, age, nationality, social or ethnic origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity or expression, marital status, pregnancy, political affiliation, or disability.

Employee Relations

Tradeshift believes that everyone should be treated with fairness and dignity and shall not tolerate any forms of physical, sexual, psychological or verbal abuse or harassment on any employees. Employees shall be free to join organizations of their own choice and shall not be subject to intimidation or harassment in the exercise of their right to join or to refrain from joining any organization.

Health and Safety Guidelines

Tradeshift provides its employees with an environmentally safe and ergonomically healthy work environment in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Environmental Guidelines

Tradeshift respects and adheres to a wide range of environmental laws and endeavors to protect and restore the environment, by such means as operating a near-paperless company globally, and making use of energy conservation, recycling and proper disposal of waste.

Bribery and Corruption

Tradeshift strongly mandates that corruption, extortion, and embezzlement, in any form, are strictly prohibited. Bribes or other means of obtaining undue or improper advantage are not to be offered or accepted. We have a company policy which addresses the requirements of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and promotes a company-wide code of conduct, including measures to eliminate corruption, bribes or facilitation payments, or grant any advantage, whether directly or indirectly, or offer any gift or entertainment to public officials with the aim of influencing decisions.

Ethical Business Conduct

Tradeshift is committed to conducting its business in a lawful, honest and ethical manner using competitive and fair market practices. Employees must not engage in any understanding or agreements with competitors with the effect of biasing or improperly influencing the markets in which it operates.

The integrity of our business records, confidentiality of our trade secrets and the proprietary information of our customers is paramount, and we require all employees, contractors and service providers to employ the highest standards of conduct in safeguarding such information and comply with the appropriate Tradeshift confidentiality and background-check requirement.
